Disability History Dateline Advanced Search
The Advanced search option lets you search the dateline using any or all of the fields below. You can use any combination of fields to focus your search. For example, to search for entries related to women in Europe during the 19th century, Select the Time Period From 1800 to 1900, then select "WOM- Women" as your first Theme, and as your second Theme "EUR- Europe". After you have filled in the desired fields, click on "Search Dateline" on the bottom of the form .
I. Select a Time Period Enter desired time period. Only records pertaining to that time period will be returned. For B.C., prefix a minus sign before the year. For example, entering 1900 in the first field and 1960 in the second field will search all records between the years of 1900 and 1960. Leave blank to search the entire timespan of the dateline.
from to (Example: from 1900 to 1960) II. Select Theme(s) to Focus Your Search: Use this option to search only entries pertaining to a specific theme or combination of themes. For example, select "Bio- Bioethics" to return records pertaining to Bioethics. Select ""Bio- Bioethics" and "USA- United States of America" to return all records pertaining to Bioethics in the USA. "None Selected" on all fields searches all the themes.
